Transfer Report Profile (Transfer Report)
This section is the Transfer Report Profile. This form contains the fields for creating a Transfer Report for a reference delivery job order.
Overview: Transfer Report Profile states information about the job order. such as,
TR no. - system generated Transfer report number
TR Date - date when TR created
Doc no. - reference printed document number of the transfer (e.g. PDR, Supplier's DR, etc.)
JO no. - reference transfer job order number
Prepared by - office in charge of the transfer
Prepared date - date of preparation
Prepared Checked by - auditor of preparation
Status - state of the report; can be draft, in-transit, or transfered
draft - report is created for finalization;
In-Transit - exchange of item is in transit or being transported
Transferred - exchange of item occurred as reported
Received by - recipient of item
Received date - date of receipt
Received Checked by - checker of transferred items
Transfer source - source location of item
Transfer destination - primary destination of transfer
Item Group - grouping of items on transfer
Item code - reference item master file code of item
Item description - item name on transfer
Item Color - item color on transfer
Uom - unit of measurement of item on transfer
Source Name - same as transfer source
Remaining Req - requested transfer quantity on balance
Source Item Class - source item class of item (disregarded if items from supplier)
Destination Name - same as transfer destination
Destination Item Class - storing item class of item (disregarded if items to supplier)
PDR Qty - quantity indicated in print out; quantity deducted from transfer source inventory
Transferred Qty - actual transferred item quantity; quantity added to transfer destination inventory
Returned Qty - rejected or returned quantity which will add quantity back to transfer source inventory
Line Remarks - notes regarding the line item
Important notes:
Remember that Transfer job order have different types and is affected by the transferring source and destination. Therefore, transfer reports may differ in point of view base on the mentioned differences. Example: When the source is from supplier, the In-transit state/status is redundant on the side of reporter, but he/she still needs to go through that state to complete the report. In this case, in-transit means items is assumed as being transported or already transferred.
