This section is the Warehouse List. It contains the list of Warehouse records.
Overview:
Warehouse list allows registration of authorized warehouse for use within system modules. Registration uses any distinct warehouse name for coding to differentiate one warehouse from another. Each successful registration adds to the number of active warehouses in the warehouse list.
Definition of Terms:
Warehouse List - database of company authorized warehouses
Warehouse - any storage area that are authorize to keep company owned materials
Warehouse Record - consists pertinent information about the registered warehouse
Users Involve:
Any authorized user who encounters the need to add or update warehouse records may report to IT to facilitate the needed requirement.
General Procedure/Instruction:
A. Creating a Warehouse Record
a.1. provide IT with written list of filled-up warehouse profile. see Employee Profile
a.2. IT verifies information with Operations Manager
a.3. IT fills up system warehouse profile
a.4. IT clicks save to activate the warehouse
B. Updating Warehouse Profile
b.1. select the warehouse record you need to update
b.2. provide IT with written updated list of warehouse profile
b.3. IT verifies information with Operations Manager
a.4. IT updates system warehouse profile
a.5. IT clicks “save” to update the record
C. Deactivation of employee record
c.1. select a warehouse record you need to deactivate
c.2. instruct IT to deactivate the warehouse record
c.3. IT verifies information with Operations Manager
c.4. IT clicks “Deactivate” to make warehouse record status inactive
